I’m talking about your birthday cake. I guess I shouldn’t be. I mean, it’s your birthday and you got a cake. You like it, right? But to me it’s also a reminder of what you’ve accomplished that day. A birthday cake is a reminder of what you’ve accomplished, of the milestones you’ve passed.
At least that’s what i think. And I know that it’s not a perfect analogy. For example, some people have birthday cakes at the beginning of their year. Which is great, but also an indication of how they feel about their progress. My own birthday cake is a reminder of how much I’ve accomplished in the past twenty years.
This is the same idea as a birthday cake. Just a new year, new you. The cake is a reminder of the milestones youve passed (the milestones are the cake). So you may have a cake at the beginning of your year and a cake at the end of it, but it is still your cake.
I’ve always enjoyed the idea of birthday cakes, and so when I saw it on Twitter, I immediately thought, “I want to give myself a birthday cake. That’s my one excuse for not doing anything.” Well, I guess I don’t have to give myself any excuses in the sense that Ive never had a birthday cake before, but I do have to say I’m happy I finally got around to it.
You should probably get a birthday cake too, because you are a birthday boy. A birthday cake, I guess. You will probably find that you will get to have the most cake you can. Or the most cake the world has ever had. A birthday cake can be a great gift, but it is only a birthday cake that can last. Most of your birthday cake is a birthday cake, not a birthday cake.
