This party was held at the end of the summer, so the weather was gorgeous and the food was filling. We had a few friends over to celebrate my son’s birthday. We had a buffet of various salads, sandwiches, desserts, and drinks. I was so excited to see what went into the party menu.
I’m sure you’ve been there. A lot of menus are a little strange. They may have a lot of “food” or a lot of “drinks” or a lot of “desserts.” There are also some menus where you order a cake, but it only comes with icing on top. You have to buy a whole cake in order to make it.
We had to order a whole cake so we could make our birthday party. The weather was gorgeous, but we were so tired before going to bed that we decided to just get some sleep and eat dinner at home. I had a slice of chocolate cake. I knew it would be good. I was right. It was even better than I expected. It was so good I actually ate two of the slices before going to bed.
