Prospects are people born into a family in the city who have to go out into the world and kill themselves by any means possible. These people are referred to as “prospects” because they are the last to go through the process of being born, and the first to die. The whole idea of the game is that you have to go out into the world and kill yourself so you can eat your familys food.
It’s a really funny story because after you stab the familys food and they die, you’re eaten by the familys children. The story even goes so far as to make it seem like you can eat people, but it’s really just an elaborate way to have a character be the last person to die.
To be honest, I hate this game. I mean, I love murdering people, but I just can’t get behind it.
