One of the memes I saw the most was that of the Texan’s band, the Texas Outlaws. In the trailer we see one of them, “The Texan’s” guitar, and he’s playing a song called “Texas Independence Day”. I mean, you know when I’m calling for a Texan to be an awesome guitar player.
I love Austin. Its one of the best cities I have ever been in to see everything from the city to the art in the city. That said, I don’t know why Texas Independence Day is a meme, but I thought it was hilarious and I love it.
I was talking to someone else about it earlier this year and they said it was because the entire Texas state is one big state. I find this an incredibly silly concept that I think is pretty funny too. They have a state in Texas, you have a state in Colorado, and then they have a state in Mexico.
It’s like the state of Texas, but without all the people.
